Basetail started out as a psychedelic electronica project in Sweden in 2005, expressed by the ridiculous minds of Marius Irgens and Daniel Johansson. They where initially exited, but was soon bored by the commercial ways the psychedelic community in Malmö had ventured. It was obviously the wrong path for Basetail to take, so they started paving their own way into psychedelic clubland by fixing parties themselves. Guided by their braincoloured senses, they soon found themselves as an important part of the old-school, illegal psychedelic trance mileu in Sweden. Basetail Crew was born.
After three years of partyfixing in Sweden, the crew was seperated by faith. Faith had told Marius to travel to Norway, so that he could study music at an higher level and explore the psychedelic adventure from higher grounds. It was here he met the third ridiculous mind that would complete the trinity: Thomas Honningsvåg. Together they would arrange twisted trance events in an old bunker, far beneath their city.
